Phil Spencer Whitehead is a graduate student research assistant at the Interactive Media Technology Center (IMTC) in the GCATT building. He is currently investigating audio noise removal and implementing such algorithms for use in commercial audio software tools. His other research interests include music and speech recognition and analysis. Spence received the B.A. in Music from Florida State University, the B.S.E.E. from University of South Florida, the M.S.E.E. from Georgia Institute of Technology, and is currently in the doctoral program at Georgia Tech under the guidance of Professors Mark Clements and David Anderson.
